Chambray shirt is one of my favorites to wear in Spring. It is so versatile so I can wear it in different ways and some of my favorite looks are: wearing it tucked in half way with white jeans or wearing it as a tunic with black leggings when I want serious comfort or wearing it as a light jacket like I did here! There are endless ways to rock a chambray shirt! A lot of people get confused between a denim shirt and a chambray shirt but the difference is that a chambray shirt is made with a soft fabric that mimics the look of denim. Make sure you get a chambray shirt instead of a regular denim shirt because regular stiff fabric denim shirts are less versatile. Another key to really taking advantage of the versatility is to size up. I bought my shirt in a size medium even though I am a XX small. My absolute favorite way to wear a chambray shirt is the way I wore it here and the only way to pull off this effortless look is to make sure the shirt is oversized!
I wore my chambray shirt as a light jacket in this outfit which was perfect on this spring day. I wore grey camisole underneath with a black strappy bralette that peeked through. I kept everything black: jeans, mini backpack, pumps, stud earrings and chunky rings to keep it cohesive. I skipped from wearing a necklace to keep it from being too overwhelming. Finally, make sure to roll up your shirt sleeves for that extra effortless chic vibe!
Lena’s X Factor: Black Strappy Bralette
There is no doubt here that my X Factor is the peeking black strappy bralette. This little detail really brings out the whole outfit and makes it pop with a touch of edge! It really goes to show details really matter!!!
