Breaking the Rules: Wearing Pastel in Winter

This outfit is just from yesterday! It was a brutally cold and windy day, but I was tired of just wearing my black puffer coat with my dark sweaters. How about we “break the rules” and wear pastel in the middle of winter?? Do you think it’s okay to do it? Of course, we can!!! In fact, I think it’s just the thing to do it especially this season, because this winter’s trending colors are less traditional and more softer, and I’m really loving it!

I wore grey fitted long sleeve knit with a pastel, light-sand suede with white faux-fur shearling collar, cuff and lined jacket, which by the way, is one of the warmest and coziest jacket ever! I then paired it with my ripped jeans and wore my light brown pointy booties. I also recycled from my summer’s staple (can you believe it!) and wore my pastel, peachy backpack to match my jacket!

Lena’s X Factor: Suede Shearling Jacket

The suede shearling jacket is my X Factor because it really makes my outfit pop with extra style. It is the buckle details and the white shearling collar, cuff and lining detail that really makes the jacket stylish but also adds edge to this entire outfit!
